Baby Update

Brynlee got to visit the doctor last week! She now weighs 10lbs 4 ounces and is 24 inches long...growing like a weed! She wasn't sleeping very well (no longer than an hour at a time) so I mentioned my concern about that. The doctor asked a bunch of questions about her behavior and decided that she has reflux so he sent us with some medicine to try. It worked! She slept for 5 hours straight that night, but now has the nasty side effect of diarrhea and isn't happy again so we're going back tomorrow to try to find another route! Other than the tummy aches, she is a very quiet and even tempered baby which is wonderful to me! Her and Kelton have such a special bond already and she loves to have him "talk" to her. He is a great helper and quite protective of her already...we had a neighbor ask if she could take Brynlee home and Kelton got pretty upset at her for asking! :) I feel blessed to be a mommy to these two amazing kids and feel lucky to have a wonderful husband here to help too!
