St. George Visit

Travis had a nursing convention in Las Vegas in January, so the kids and I decided to tag along and spend some time at Gramma Tammy and Papa Brad's. Travis thought it was going to be a job fair type convention, but it turned out to be some review and learning for the big NCLEX exam he will have to take this summer. The manor didn't schedule him for about 2 weeks in a row, so we got to spend an entire week in St. George. It was so fun being able to spend time with Brad and Tammy and to see Grampa Marv. Kelton just loves his Grampa Marv and I think Grampa Marv loves Kelton too?! They are so cute together!!
Gramma Tammy works at a County Recreational Center so she gets us passes whenever we come to visit. The swimming pool has garage type doors that open during the summer, but close during the winter and it stays around 80 degrees inside during the winter, so we got to enjoy some needed swimming time! It was super fun! Thanks Gramma Tammy!!!
Brynlee did a fantastic job traveling down to St. George, but grew a little tired of her car seat on the way home. Good thing Daddy knows how to make her smile!!
Grampa Marv...Still so in love with his sweetheart!
Can you see where Kelton gets his cheeser grin? I LOVE IT!!!
Travis' Grandma has been living with Alzheimer's for the past 8 years or so and is in a care facility where they take terrific care of her. We get to go visit her there whenever we are in St. George. She isn't very talkative anymore, but whenever her great-grandkids come to visit, she just lights up and gets so giddy and smiley! When I walked in she asked me where my baby was (which is a big thing for her to do) and stretched out her arms to hold her! She really became awake and alert while we were there and it was nice to spend some time with her!
Climbing trees in Grampa Marv's yard!
Gramma Tammy is so fun!
Brynlee chatting with Grampa Marv!
While Travis was taking Kelton around to all the animals at the McDonald's in Ely a man got out of his truck and asked if Kelton wanted to see a real one...Apparantly the man had just shot this in the mountains nearby! Kelton was a bit disturbed...he gets pretty worried whenever he sees dead animals! Just ask about when his Uncle Kurt shot a deer!!
It was time to stop and feed Brynlee. So while I was in the car nursing, Travis took Kelton around to all the animals at the McDonald's in Ely. Here he is acting like a bear! Kelton did a wonderful job traveling for all those hours...we only had to break out the computer for a movie the last 1/2 hour of the trip there. They way home was a little different, but then again, none of us ready to leave St. George!!
Here is a video of Kelton at the Rec Center!

I just love St. George, especially during the winter. I'm so glad you got to spend time with family. Which side is it, your mom's or dad's? Kelton's face cracked me up in nealy every picture, he is such a cutie! Sounds like the drive home was a ton of fun:)
